Terms & Conditions

Laundry Made Easy. Terms Made Clear.

1. GETTING STARTED

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the wrinsy website, mobile application, and laundry services (collectively, the "Services") provided by wrinsy LLC ("wrinsy," "we," "our," or "us").

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Acceptance of Terms

You agree to these Terms by:

  • Accessing or using the Services;
  • Creating or using an account through a property management system ("PMS") integration;
  • Checking any acceptance box within the wrinsy application; or
  • Submitting laundry for service.

If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Description of Services

wrinsy provides a managed laundry service, including:

  • Pickup of laundry from designated property locations;
  • Off-site washing, drying, and folding;
  • Return of laundry to designated property locations.

wrinsy operates exclusively through agreements with property owners and managers. Residents are end users of the Services, which are contracted through the property, and interact directly with wrinsy for service execution and support.

wrinsy does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

Eligibility and Use

To use the Services, you must:

  • Be a current resident or authorized occupant of a participating property;
  • Have an active account provisioned through the property's PMS integration;
  • Comply with all applicable laws and these Terms.

wrinsy reserves the right to refuse or suspend service at any time for any reason.

2. ACCOUNT & USAGE

Accounts and Access

User accounts are created and managed through integration with a property's PMS.

  • Account information may include name, email, and unit number.
  • Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
  • Access to the Services is automatically revoked upon termination of residency or removal from the PMS.

wrinsy is not responsible for errors or inaccuracies in PMS-provided data.

Service Process

The standard service process includes:

  • Resident places laundry in designated wrinsy bag(s);
  • Laundry is placed in wrinsy-provided lockboxes placed outside the resident's unit during designated service windows;
  • wrinsy collects and transports laundry to an off-site processing facility;
  • Laundry is washed, dried, and folded;
  • Laundry is returned to the designated location.

wrinsy does not verify ownership of items placed for service.

Resident Responsibilities

Residents are solely responsible for:

  • Placing only appropriate laundry items for service;
  • Removing all personal items from pockets;
  • Ensuring items are properly bagged and secured;
  • Using designated lockers, boxes or pickup areas as instructed;
  • Placing lockboxes outside the unit only during designated service windows and retrieving them promptly after return;
  • Retrieving laundry in a timely manner after return.

wrinsy is not responsible for items left outside designated procedures or locations.

3. ITEM GUIDELINES

Prohibited and At-Risk Items

Residents agree not to submit the following items:

  • Items labeled "dry clean only" or requiring specialized care;
  • Delicate fabrics, including but not limited to silk, wool, or specialty garments;
  • Items of high monetary or sentimental value;
  • Items contaminated with hazardous materials;
  • Any items not suitable for standard wash, dry, and fold processing.

Submission of such items is at the resident's sole risk.

wrinsy disclaims liability for any damage resulting from improper item submission.

4. OPERATIONS

Service Modifications

wrinsy reserves the right to:

  • Modify service procedures, schedules, or availability;
  • Introduce or remove features;
  • Adjust operational processes as needed.

wrinsy may provide notice of material changes but is not obligated to do so.

Right to Refuse Service

wrinsy may refuse, suspend, or terminate service for:

  • Violation of these Terms;
  • Submission of prohibited items;
  • Abuse, misuse, or interference with operations;
  • Any other reason at wrinsy's sole discretion.

5. HANDLING & SAFETY

Chain of Custody and Risk Transfer

Responsibility for laundry items is allocated as follows:

  • Resident Responsibility (Pre-Pickup):

Residents retain full responsibility for all items until wrinsy physically accesses the lockbox and accepts the order via scan.

  • wrinsy Responsibility (Processing Window Only):

wrinsy assumes limited responsibility only during the period beginning when a wrinsy driver opens the lockbox and scans the order for pickup, and ending when the order is returned to the lockbox.

  • Resident Responsibility (Post-Delivery):

Responsibility for all items returns to the resident immediately upon delivery of laundry back into the lockbox.

  • Shared Environment Acknowledgment:

Lockboxes are placed in common or semi-private areas of the property during service windows. wrinsy does not control or secure access to hallways, building entry points, or surrounding areas.

wrinsy is not responsible for items lost, stolen, or damaged outside of the period of wrinsy's physical possession.

Lockers, Bags, and Access Points

wrinsy may provide lockboxes for use during designated service windows. These lockboxes are placed outside residential units and must be brought back inside by residents after service.

  • Such equipment is provided for convenience only.
  • Residents are responsible for securing their items properly.
  • wrinsy is not responsible for theft, tampering, or loss occurring within lockers, hallways, or other shared areas.

Ownership and control of locker placement and property access remain with the property owner or manager. wrinsy does not guarantee security of items while lockboxes are placed in common or accessible areas of the property.

6. CLAIMS & COVERAGE

Claims Process (Loss, Damage, or Theft)

To submit a claim, residents must:

  • Submit a claim within seventy-two (72) hours of delivery;
  • Provide sufficient detail, including item description and supporting evidence;
  • Provide photographic documentation where reasonably available.

Failure to meet these requirements may result in denial of the claim.

wrinsy reserves the right to investigate all claims and request additional information.

wrinsy may deny or adjust claims in cases of suspected abuse, excessive claims frequency, or insufficient documentation.

All determinations regarding claims are made at wrinsy's sole discretion.

Loss and Theft

wrinsy is not an insurer of items.

wrinsy's responsibility for lost or missing items is limited to situations where:

  • The item was demonstrably in wrinsy's possession; and
  • Loss resulted directly from wrinsy's handling during transport or processing.

wrinsy is not responsible for:

  • Items lost prior to pickup;
  • Items lost after delivery;
  • Items placed in lockers, boxes or common areas;
  • Items submitted by third parties (including guests of residents);
  • Items not reasonably documented in a claim.

Damage to Items

wrinsy will process laundry using standard commercial laundering methods.

Residents acknowledge that laundry processing involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Shrinkage;
  • Color bleeding;
  • Fabric wear;
  • Normal degradation over time.

wrinsy is only responsible for damage resulting directly from failure to follow standard laundering practices.

wrinsy is not responsible for damage caused by:

  • Failure to follow garment care labels;
  • Improper item submission;
  • Pre-existing damage or wear;
  • Items requiring special care;
  • Items with unknown or unclear care requirements.

Prohibited and At-Risk Items

If a resident submits an item that is:

  • Labeled "dry clean only";
  • Delicate or specialty fabric;
  • High-value or designer;
  • Otherwise unsuitable for standard laundering;

Such items are processed at the resident's sole risk.

wrinsy assumes no liability for damage to such items, regardless of outcome.

7. PAYMENTS & GUARANTEES

Valuation and Compensation Limits

Approved claims are subject to the following limits:

  • Maximum of $100 per item;
  • Maximum of $500 per order.

Valuation of items will be determined based on:

  • Reasonable market value;
  • Third-party pricing sources;
  • Depreciation and condition.

Original purchase price does not guarantee reimbursement value.

wrinsy reserves the right to determine final compensation amounts.

All compensation is issued at wrinsy's discretion and may be provided as service credit or monetary reimbursement.

Exclusive Remedy

Any compensation provided under these Terms:

  • Represents the resident's sole and exclusive remedy;
  • May be issued as service credit at wrinsy's discretion;
  • Does not constitute an admission of fault or liability.

24-Hour Turnaround Guarantee

wrinsy provides a 24-hour turnaround service based on daily pickup and return operations. If wrinsy fails to meet this timeframe:

  • The resident's sole remedy is a service credit, if applicable;
  • No cash compensation will be provided;
  • Repeated service delays may result in additional discretionary credits.

The 24-hour timeframe is subject to:

  • Operational conditions;
  • Volume fluctuations;
  • Force majeure events;
  • Factors outside wrinsy's control.

This timeframe assumes proper placement of lockboxes during designated service windows.

8. LEGAL

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

wrinsy shall not be liable for any:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages;
  • Loss of use, inconvenience, or loss of time;
  • Emotional distress or reputational harm;
  • Loss or damage exceeding the limits set forth in these Terms.

wrinsy's total liability for any claim, regardless of cause, shall not exceed:

  • $100 per item, and
  • $500 per order,

as outlined in Section 16.

These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory asserted, including contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise.

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available."

wrinsy disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including:

wrinsy does not warrant that:

  • The Services will be uninterrupted or error-free;
  • Laundry will be free from all risk of damage;
  • All items will be processed without incident.

Residents use the Services at their own risk, subject to the limitations herein.

You agree that:

  • You may only bring claims in your individual capacity;

Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of wrinsy.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable:

  • The remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect;
